Where has the time gone?!

So like many things in my life my blog sits half done. I have about 5 drafts from blogs I have started but have yet to add pictures... or finish adding pictures. I just wanted to post a quick blog to tell whats been going on.

First and foremost (because I am so very proud) my husband launched his business!
It has been so crazy and fun and all sorts of things. My husband never ceases to amaze me though that's for sure! For awhile he was working full time at his other job while putting in full time hours (honestly usually more than that) trying to get this started. On top of that he found time to be with us and do things.

In all the crazyness of the business, we also moved. This I am also VERY excited for. We have a huge back grass area and a play place for Jayden and Landon to be able to play in. It has lots of room and STORAGE!!!  Landon and Jayden still have their own rooms and our room is bigger (I am able to put my elliptical in it and have been able to take advantage of that a few times already so far and we have only been here 2 weeks! Jason again was awesome, he helped pack, he and my dad moved everything out of our old place and a lot of the stuff into the new place by themselves. My sweet little brother Jesse got off of school about this time and helped finish it up with them. My cute mom had my dad drop of dinner so we could try to unpack a bit. We have gotten most of it done but again thats one of my projects that is not completely done.

Right before we moved I started a BIG TIME clutter clearing session and its been great! I still have plenty to do (again unfinished project lol but honestly I don't think it will ever FULLY be done) I am a very emotional person and I have kept lots of things. I have also learned how great it is to let go of things that remind me of not so good things. As many of you know we had a falling out with my inlaws when they couldn't respect our parenting choices (their friends made fun of our religion and they wouldn't keep illegal drugs away from us when we were visiting etc) The thing that was the hardest was when my mother in law tried to break up our marriage, luckily yet again my husband is amazing and stood up for me and told her if she couldn't respect us and the way we would like to raise our kids and respect the fact that we were married and love each other and she couldn't APOLOGIZE for the horrible things she said and did then we would have to go our separate ways until she could.
Anywho I read a book about how clutter holds energy (negative or positive) and when you pick up something it makes you feel a certain way, well for me this is completely true. So in my clutter clearing process I was able to get rid of several things that reminded me of all those negative things and I cannot describe how freeing its been! I have also been able to let go of simple things that give me good feelings but I just didn't need to have (like cards haha) So right before we moved I filled probably 10 boxes of trash and another 7-8 bags of trash. I also was able to donate A LOT of clothing, some that was brand new! But as a mom I would never wear it, it was more "teenagery" or not my taste anymore. It was really fun to be able to drop off soooo much stuff and know someone else would be able to use it that really needed it.

So all in all it has been a crazy but fun last couple of weeks. Hopefully as time passes and we get more settled I'll be able to finish up those old blogs and post them. As for right now I have been up the last few nights with a teething little Landon and and Jayden has thrown up several times so the crazy life continues! Until next time! Happy Thanksgiving! (Can't wait to show you our cute Thanksgiving treat crafts we are making)

Halloween is coming coming coming

So this year Jason wasn't working and neither was I so we decided to hit the Barnyard Boo at Thanksgiving Point. It was overcast and a little cold but pretty cute. Jayden had a blast running around and seeing the animals. My parents happened to decide to go that day too as it was the last day so we saw them on and off during the time we were there.
This is the cute pumpkin we saw as we walked into the animal area
Cute little Jayden looking at some of the animals.

Some white horses that he really liked there

They had all these hula hoops on the ground, we ran into my parents about the same time we reached these. Jayden had fun playing with them and running around and watching Josh, Nate, Hallie, and Abby try hula hooping. He was so cute when he tried to imitate them.
Jayden and I went on a cute and luckily short wagon ride (he was ready to run right about the time it ended) around the animal area of Thanksgiving Point.
After the wagon ride their story time was about to start so we went in to get our seats Jayden seemed to be excited at first but as the time kept slowly ticking closer to the start the more restless he got. We ended up leaving about 4 lines into her intro since he started to get up and wander around and seemed pretty uninterested. Maybe he will like it in a few years right?! Anywho I had to add a few pictures because he looked so cute sitting on his little bench and wandering around.
They sat on these little benches, I thought the way Jayden was sitting there was so cute! I just had to take a picture!
Jayden sitting next to Nathan. At this point I thought maybe he would last through the story, I was wrong.

This is maybe a minute after the previous picture. It is so cute how curious he is about everything still.
Daddy in the story time area being patient with me trying to decide whether or not to leave

Cute little Landon, being just as patient with Mommy as Daddy

Once we left the story time area we revisited some of the animals we saw before, this time several of the ones that were farther away before were closer, and Jayden was loving it.
This is how Jayden was a lot of the time, excited and running ahead, Daddy following close behind. How cute!!
Jayden was loving this cow staring right at him and being so close!

After we saw them again we went and got a little bit of food and headed over to see all the different kinds of turkeys and the goats. The goats were pretty fun to feed and wanted to lick the food right out of your hand!! There was also some sheep but the only one that came close kept pushing little goats away with his head (butting them basically) Soooooooo of course I did not feed him! I don't feed bully sheep or any other bully animals for that matter. We went over a little and continued to feed the ones he pushed!
This guy kept staring at me and I thought he looked so cute and funny so Jason took a picture.
The same guy walking over to daddy
They had sheep and goats in the same pen and they were walking right up to where Jayden was, he was once again fascinated!!

This one was so cute, jumping right up to eat out of my hand, and leaving a good bit of slobber behind!!

Just thought these little babies were cute learning how to climb on the rocks. That bigger one on top there kept pushing them down, but they were persistent!
Two of my favorite guys! Jayden loves his Daddy so much! It's so cute to see their interactions together. Daddy is his best buddy
Now when we first paid to go in they asked if we wanted a pony ride for Jayden. He just barely turned two and has never really been around horses but we decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! He actually sat on the pony! Then got off before it started walking, but asked to get back on and walked in a full circle with it before he decided that was enough pony time for him. It was his first ride ever and he amazed me! Sat on that thing so quick and held on and even pet his neck. It was the sweetest little black pony I wish I woulda asked his name. I may go back and do ask them just that! (If I remember with all the crazyness going on here)
Right after my little munchkin got on the horse he grabbed that piece of the saddle, I didn't even have to tell him where to hold on! He is getting so big.

Petting the pony before the ride started

I walked around with Jayden in this little circle it was pretty dang fun! I look forward to doing this again.

Us walking, he was doing so good I really probably didn't even need to have my hand on his back, but it made me feel better and it didn't bother him.
After the pony ride we met up with everyone else again (My Mom, Dad, Nathan, Josh, Hallie, and Abby) and all the kids got a little picture painted on their face. I wish I would have gotten one with everyone looking back but I guess I will learn that stuff more as I blog. We did get cute little Jayden again with another first! Getting his face painted!! There was a poster with some pictures and he chose the Frankenstein. He loved watching everyone else get their faces painted and was even patient when a little boys mom kind of butted him in line lol. Glad I have a sweet little boy. His little facial expressions were so cute to watch, he wasn't quite sure what to think but did remarkably well!!

My little mischievous guy crawling up by all her little supplies.
The start of his little painting, I just love that little face he is pulling!

At the end she pulled out a little mirror to show him what it looked like............
He wasn't too sure what to think...

Moving!!

So we found out our apartments were raising the rent 26% (maybe im dumb but that just seemed nuts!!) So we started hunting. It wasnt that we felt we couldnt pay it as much as if we are going to pay that... might as well find a better place right?! anywho so that we did! i found a place i really liked that was actually cheaper than here.. it had several things we loved about it.
1- It's a townhome!! and end one too so no one upstairs or down and only one side neighbor so we have extra windows!!
2- It is in an EXCELLENT location literally two minutes from walmart and TONS of other shopping which I love.
3- It's bigger... enough said there
4- Master bedroom is bigger YAY!!
5- We can BBQ!!! (something I have missed a lot more than I thought I would living here)
6- I can grow a GARDEN again!!! (once again something I have missed way more than I thought I would)
7- We don't have to carry groceries and kids up and down steps outside (fairly narrow ones)
8- And one of the BIGGEST reasons I fell in love was the backyard has a gate that opens to a HUGE grassy area and a playground AND there is another one just across the parking lot with a different style playground!

We went and saw it on Saturday and both loved it, I would have given a deposit then and there but they had other people coming to see it and told us they would let us know by Monday (today) and man I learned one thing... I'm going to HATE the wait when we buy a place because this rental was killing me! Anywho they told us we actually had one person in front of us that qualified and saw the place before us.. I was devastated (no joke my husband can attest to that) but I'm married to such a great guy he came up with a great idea to offer them more!! (after we gave the other people a little while to respond of course) lucky for us the landlords went with it and we have now put the deposit down and signed the lease. :-) now we have until November 7 to be all packed and ready to go! (think we can do it?!) I need to find boxes, we are doing a bunch of other things so this week is going to be CRAZY!! but fun because it will all lead up to the big move. This is a place I can see us staying in for several years until we are ready to own its just so cute and perfect for our family right now.
Anywho wish I could post pictures but I don't have any yet! I will post some once we get a little settled in and everything! Wish us luck with the packing and everything else going on right now. We are sure going to need it! :-)
